A graduate of Muhlenberg College, Steven J. Mitnick received a B.A. in History in 1978. Upon graduation from Muhlenberg, Steven matriculated at Western New England College School of Law receiving a Juris Doctor degree in 1981. Admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1981, Steven has specialized in debt collection, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy law, for over 25 years.
While continuing to practice law at Mitnick & Malzberg P.C., Steven is a founder of SM Financial Services Corporation and participates in its business development and provides legal consultation. Steven is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), Hunterdon County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association and Turnaround management Association (TMA).
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Jane W. Mitnick received a B.S. in Speech from the College of Communications in 1986.
As founder and president of SM Financial Services Corporation, Jane supervises its business development, marketing, and operations. Jane is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), Association of Corporate Growth (ACG), International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), New York Institute of Credit (NYIC), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Junior League of Summit and Kent Place School Parents’ Association.
